About the Speaker:
K. Todd Johnson is the Executive Director of the Johnston County Heritage Center, where he oversees the county's historical archives and museum exhibits in downtown Smithfield.
A passionate advocate for local history and preservation, Todd serves as the Board Chairman for Preservation Johnston County, Inc., and was recently honored as a 2025 North Carolina Main Street Champion for his outstanding work in cultural preservation and downtown revitalization.
He holds a Master’s degree in Public History from NC State University and is an accomplished author on regional history.
Todd lives in Smithfield’s historic Brooklyn District with his family.
