The OCHAR Diversity and Fair Housing Committee and the Durham Regional and Johnston County Associations of Realtors® will host a fair housing event on May 10 from 10am to 12:30pm at Berkshire Hathaway in Chapel Hill. Join us as we explore Fairhaven, a housing simulation training that uses the power of storytelling to help members identify, prevent, and address discriminatory practices in real estate. The simulation, inspired by real stories, is an immersive, interactive experience that has agents work against the clock to sell homes in the fictional town of Fairhaven, while confronting discrimination in the homebuying process.
